In December 2018 the Choir returned to Rome for another Basilicas tour in collaboration with the contemporary Italian composer, and former Composer in Residence at the Vatican, Claudio Dall’Albero. As well as performing at Santa Maria Maggiore, St Peter’s Vatican City and St Paul’s Outside the Walls, the Choir made their debut at the stunning Teatro Villa Torlonia. Aside from their performances the Choir enjoyed some sightseeing in Rome and the opportunity to sample the Italian cuisine! We are most grateful to our Italian agent, Marcella Medaglia, for all her work in setting up our concerts for this tour and we cannot wait to return again soon!
